At my childcare, the children become a part of my family, and my home becomes their second home. I love and care for them wholeheartedly and treat them as if they were my own. We love to get our bodies moving with dance parties and playing outside. In Spring, Summer, and Fall we spend the majority of time outdoors. My program is designed for children ages 3 months to 3.5 - 4 years old. Children age out of my Program at their 4th Birthday I highly recommend them to attend Pre-K and Wrap at our district's CEC. I believe that children thrive in an environment that values their uniqueness while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially, and creatively. I offer a play-based model with self-guided and adult-guided play. The Play-Based model's main goal is to develop social, emotional, and soft skills by provider modeling.

Children's progress is monitored by their participation in hands-on activities and observations. The Play-Based model is less about the process of learning and less concerned about the product and more about discovery, exploration and appropriate risk taking. The Play-Based model involves both child-initiated and provider-supported learning. The provider encourages children’s learning and inquiry through interactions that aim to stretch their thinking to higher levels. Children learn best through first-hand experiences—play motivates, stimulates and supports children in their development of skills, concepts, language acquisition, communication skills, and concentration. environment, and connect what they already know with new knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Children build language skills while developing content knowledge. Plus, cooperative experiences provide children the opportunity to cultivate social skills, competencies, and a disposition to learn.
